An empirically-based practical-realistic pedagogic mathematical model for teaching and learning of an antenna theory and design course

چکیده

Despite the professional importance attached to antenna theory and design course, most students some academics still see course as difficult not easily explained via mathematical modelling (MM) despite concepts integrated into teaching learning of an design. Due this challenge, change their courses opt for with less complexity. In view this, paper reports review on using MM approach, relevant theoretical models reported by other researchers, a comparative description these frameworks. It also offers empirical appraisal practical-realistic pedagogic model (PRPMM-TLATD) reliable in universities. achieving data was gathered from four scholarly 12 engineering university South Africa qualitative approach. This finding generates following stages participants. And include validation measurement, simulation, analysis mathematically, personal conceptualization work, total interpretation problem, problem resolution mathematization. confirmed that parameters (mathematically), describing extra-mathematical working prerequisite were followed. The result study could be classified two domains, namely, paper-based domain realistic among Africa.
